Effective Date: June 18, 2026 | Last Updated: June 20, 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie and Tracking Technology Policy (“Cookie Policy”) explains how Sproos uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the sproos.ai website (the “Site”). This Cookie Policy supplements and should be read together with the Sproos Privacy Policy above.
The Sproos mobile app does not use browser cookies. The tracking technologies used within the app (PostHog analytics, Sentry crash reporting) are described in Section 2 of the Privacy Policy above and are not governed by this Cookie Policy.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions. We may also use related technologies, including:
- Pixel tags / web beacons: Tiny images embedded in web pages or emails that signal when a page or email has been viewed.
- Local storage objects: Data stored in your browser outside of cookies, used for similar purposes.
- Session replay and analytics scripts: Code that records how visitors interact with the Site in aggregate or session-level form.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies. These cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They include session management, security tokens, and consent preference storage. You can block these cookies in your browser, but some parts of the Site may not work as a result.
Analytics and Performance Cookies. These cookies allow us to count visits and understand how visitors use the Site so we can measure and improve its performance. All information is aggregated and anonymous.
Functional Cookies. These cookies enable enhanced functionality such as remembering your preferences or login state. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to the Site.
4. Cookie Consent and Preference Management
Where required by applicable law, we display a cookie consent banner when you first visit the Site, allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You may also manage cookies at any time by:
- Adjusting your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies; or
- Using a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal, which we treat as a valid opt-out from the sale or sharing of personal information where required by applicable law.
Where we make an in-Site cookie preference control available, it will be accessible from the Site footer.
5. Third-Party Tracking and Links
Some cookies and tracking technologies on the Site are placed by third parties over whom we have limited control. Those third parties have their own privacy policies. The Site may contain links to third-party websites; this Cookie Policy does not apply to those sites.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. Because there is no uniform standard for responding to DNT signals (other than GPC, addressed above), the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. We will revisit this as industry standards develop.
7. Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
